Down payment in February, balance in July.

Guests can pay a charter in two parts, months apart. You set the payment rules once per charter, so every booking follows them. If you take a security deposit, you return it from the booking after the trip.

Booked in February

Sailed in August

The same booking, six months apart. The down payment holds the week, and the balance is in before the crew steps aboard. If you take a deposit, it goes back when the boat comes home.

A down payment holds the week

Guests pay part up front and the rest before the trip. For the balance you send a payment link with a due date you choose, and the payment page shows it.

The balance, by link

The payment link goes out by email or text, or you send it yourself.

Deposit back, line by line

If you take a deposit, anything you keep goes on its own line, so the guest sees what it's for. Fuel used goes on as a cost with its own tax rate.

Add-ons scale with the booking

Guests add a skipper or a stocked fridge when they book. The price grows with the length of the charter or the number of people aboard.

Questions about yacht rental software.

How do I charge for fuel on a yacht charter?

Fuel used goes on the booking as a cost with its own tax rate. If you take a security deposit, Let's Book settles the cost out of it before the rest goes back. So when the deposit covers it, the guest pays nothing extra at the dock.

Can I schedule skippers and crew in Let's Book?

Let's Book has no crew roster. You sell a skipper as an add-on to the charter, so every booking shows whether it needs one.

Can I ask for a boating license or a crew list?

Yes, with your own question at checkout. You show it only for the yachts that need it, and you see the answer on the booking until two weeks after the trip. Let's Book doesn't check the license itself.

Can I charge a different price for a yacht in high season?

Yes, in Let's Book you give every season its own dates and prices. A week that runs on into the next season keeps the price of the season it starts in. Early-bird and last-minute prices also move with how far ahead a guest books.

How do I handle a canceled yacht charter?

You settle a canceled charter in Let's Book from the booking itself. You keep your cancellation fee and refund the rest in one step. Each customer type can have its own cancellation policy.

Can I put a yacht on option?

No, Let's Book has no option that holds a week until a set date. For a regular customer, you can create a customer type that books without paying up front. You then send a payment link later.

Can charter guests sign the rental contract online?

Yes, through its integration with WaiverForever, Let's Book sends a prefilled rental contract with every booking. Guests sign it digitally before they reach the marina. You decide whether only the person who booked signs, or every guest aboard. Anyone who didn't sign at home scans a QR code at the dock.

What happens when the wind cancels a charter?

You move the booking to another day in Let's Book, and your guest gets an email that shows what changed. When there's no other day, you settle the cancellation from the booking. You keep your cancellation fee or refund everything.

Can I move my current charter bookings to Let's Book?

Yes, and you don't have to do it alone. We move the charters you've already sold over with you, free of charge. So the summer that's already booked sits in Let's Book from day one, next to every new booking.
