Boat rentals
Boat rental management software.
For a rental business with one boat or forty, at one dock or several. You rent by the hour, the day or the week, the way you're used to, and Let's Book takes the busywork off your hands.

Bookings, planning and payments for rental by the hour, the day or the week.
- Online booking form
- Guests book an hour or an afternoon on your own site. While they pay, nobody else can book their boat.
- Pricing and availability
- You set your prices: by the hour or day, per season, with a weekend price or early-bird and last-minute rates.
- Payments and security deposits
- What customers pay goes to your own account, a security deposit too if you take one.
- Planning and daily operations
- All your boats are on one planning. When a boat comes back late, the planning warns you.
- Customer messages
- Your guests get a confirmation right away. You decide whether they get a text before pickup, and whether an email after the trip asks for a review.
- Add-ons and promotions
- Earn more on every booking: sell extras with a rental, like a cooler or a SUP board. A discount code can be limited to the quiet dates you choose.
Rent out your boats online.
Your customer picks a day, a boat and a start time, and pays in a few taps. That works at eleven at night too, while you're relaxing at home.
At a glance.
The customer starts the boat from their phone.
On rental without a skipper, each boat can get a hardware module from our partners Sentinel Marine or Qondor. It releases the engine at the booked hour, and the customer starts it from their phone. So you need fewer people at the dock to hand boats out and take them back.
The hardware module is paid for apart from your plan.

Online booking form on your own site.
The form follows the way you rent: your rates, your hours and your rules. You put it on the site you already have, so customers book straight with you.
Works on WordPress, Wix and Squarespace
There's a plugin for WordPress. In Wix and Squarespace you paste a snippet into the settings.
An alternative when it's full
The customer sees at once which times are taken. When theirs is full, the form offers another time, another day or a similar boat.
From hourly to multi-day rental
The customer picks a few hours, a day or a long weekend on the lake, all in the same form.
Your own questions at checkout
Ask what you want to know, like whether they've driven a boat before. The answer is on the booking when they get to the dock.

Hourly and daily rates for every season.
You give each season its own rates and can charge more on the weekend with a price rule. You set it up once, so nobody changes a rate by hand in spring.
Rates per rental
Each rental you sell has its own rate per hour and per day. So renting out the big electric boat can cost more than the small one at the same dock.
Seasons that start on a date
You set your high-season prices ahead, with the date they start. A trip that runs on into the next season keeps the price of the season it starts in.
Open hours with free start times
Guests pick any start time within your open hours, so every free hour can be booked. A cruise at fixed departure times goes on the same planning.
Early bird and last minute pricing
The price moves with how far ahead someone books. So a boat that's still free this afternoon can go out at a last-minute price.
Discount codes and partner links
You make a discount code that only works in the quiet weeks of May. The campground down the road gets a partner link that counts its bookings.
Departure limits and buffer time
Don't want every boat leaving at ten? Then set a maximum per departure time. Buffer time between two trips gives you time to get the boat ready.
Payments and the end of the day.
Have customers pay everything when they book, and nobody has to chase a payment. Work with a security deposit? Then it's paid right away too. The money goes to your own Stripe or Mollie account, and after the trip you see what goes back.
Nobody books the boat twice
While the customer pays, nobody else can book the boat. If the payment doesn't come, the boat is free again.
Keep back part of a deposit
Work with a deposit? Then you return it from the booking, and keep back the repair of a scratch on its own line.
Wrap-up list of what's still open
At closing time, the wrap-up list shows you which bookings still need something. You return several deposits in one go and head home.
Take cards at the dock
A remaining balance or a last-minute extra goes onto a card at the dock. With Mollie, your own phone is the card reader.

Rentals, tours, charters and boat clubs from one fleet.
Do you run charters or boat tours next to your rentals? In Let's Book they sit next to your rentals on one planning, so nobody books the same boat twice. Not yet? Then you add them later, without switching.
Rentals by the hour or day
Customers pick a boat and a start time on your own site. If that time is taken, they see another time or boat right away, so they don't give up.
Tours at fixed departure times
Your boat leaves at ten, twelve and two, for example, and each departure has its own package price. Tickets per seat are coming soon.
Private charters
A company books the whole boat, with a skipper and catering. They pay part up front and the rest before the trip.
Memberships and passes
Your regulars book on their own, at their member rate and with their own rules. So you never change a price by hand for a member.
Manage your fleet, docks and staff.
In Let's Book you see on one planning which boat is at which dock. So nobody keeps a note on the wall of where each boat is. When a boat needs maintenance, you take it out of service and nobody can book it.
Boat models and individual boats
Customers book a model, and you pick the actual boat just before they leave. Even a trip that's under way can still move to another boat.
Multiple docks on one planning
Each dock has its own boats and address, and sells its own rentals and trips. The timeline shows where every boat has been and where it goes next.
Roles and access per location
You give someone access to one dock, with exactly the permissions you pick. So your summer help hands out boats without seeing the revenue.
What it saves you and earns you.
Guests book and pay on their own, at night too, so you don't have to answer the phone. The money reaches your own account without you chasing anyone. On self-drive rental, guests start a connected boat from their phone, so you need fewer people at the dock.
With the boats you already have, you can also start something new. You put a sunset departure or a membership for regulars online on a quiet Monday. We're happy to think it through with you.

Questions about boat rental management software.
How late can customers book a boat rental online?
Customers can book online in Let's Book right up to departure, unless you set a minimum notice. A short notice keeps a free boat for rent until just before it leaves. A longer one gives the dock time to get the boat ready.
Can tourists pay for a boat rental the way they pay at home?
Yes, customers pay with what they know, like a card, Apple Pay or PayPal. With Stripe they see the methods of their own country, and with Mollie you pick the methods yourself. The money goes into your own account.
Can customers rent a boat when nobody is at the dock?
Yes, with a connected boat in Let's Book. The customer starts it from their phone when the booking begins, and ends the trip the same way, so check-in and check-out need fewer staff. The hardware module comes from Sentinel Marine or Qondor, or it is an SMS-Relay. You pay for it separately from your plan.
Can I take a separate security deposit on a SUP board?
Yes, in Let's Book an add-on can carry a security deposit of its own. So a customer who adds a SUP board or a kayak pays its deposit at checkout. Your staff get a list of the ordered add-ons, so everything is ready when the customer arrives.
Can my staff take boat bookings over the phone?
Yes, your staff enter the booking in Let's Book while the customer is still on the phone. The confirmation carries a payment link and a due date, so nobody has to chase the money. The booking lands on the same planning as the ones made online.
Can I move a boat rental when the weather is bad?
Yes, when the wind picks up you move the booking to another day or time in Let's Book, or you cancel it. Your customer gets an email that says what changed. You refund a cancellation from the booking, in full or minus a cancellation fee.
Can customers sign the waiver at home?
Yes, your customers sign their waiver in WaiverForever, at home or on their phone at the dock. It arrives already filled in with the booking details. Regulars in a customer type of their own can skip it, so they don't sign again for every trip. You pay WaiverForever for your plan.
How many staff accounts can I have in Let's Book?
As many as you like, because Let's Book has no cap on the number of users. Your summer help gets their own login too. With roles you decide who can see and do what. Four are built in: administrator, operations manager, planner and dock host.
Can I email customers who haven't booked in a while?
Yes, Let's Book sends a win-back email to customers who haven't booked for fifty weeks. So last summer's family hears from you again in June. A follow-up email goes out one day after each trip.
Can I compare this season's bookings with last year?
Yes, the sales insights in Let's Book set this season next to the same period last year. Revenue is shown without tax and counted on the pickup date. So a July trip booked in March counts toward July.
How do I switch my boat rental business to Let's Book?
You switch together with us, and it costs you nothing. It starts with a half-hour video call, often with your own boats already in Let's Book. We also move your existing bookings over with you, so old and new sit on one planning from day one.
Get started with your rental business.
In a half-hour video call, we show you Let's Book with your own boats already in it, if you send us your website. No strings attached.
