Questions about the bill.

We tell you plainly what you pay and what it's for. How Let's Book works day to day is in the support docs.

What does Let's Book cost?

On Standard, Let's Book costs $30 (€25) a month plus 2.5% of every booking. On Pro, it's $175 (€150) a month plus 1%. Both plans include every feature, free onboarding and free support. Bookings, payments and users are unlimited.

Which plan is cheaper for me?

Standard is cheaper below $116,000 in bookings a year, and Pro is cheaper above it. At exactly $116,000, both plans cost $3,260 a year. In euros, the two meet at €100,000, because the dollar prices aren't converted from the euro prices.

Can I switch between Standard and Pro?

Yes, you can switch between Standard and Pro at any time. Just not back and forth every season, Pro in summer and Standard in winter.

What is the difference between Standard and Pro?

The only difference between Standard and Pro is the price. Both plans have every feature and full API access, with no upsells. Standard has a small monthly fee and a higher booking fee. Pro has a larger monthly fee and a lower booking fee.

What is the booking fee charged on?

You pay the booking fee on the booking amount: 2.5% on Standard and 1% on Pro. On a $200 rental, that's $5 or $2. We don't charge the booking fee on a deposit you hold and release. When a booking is canceled later, the fee stays.

How is the booking fee charged?

Your payment provider takes our booking fee from each payment, next to its own processing fee. Each month you get two invoices from us. The first is for the monthly fee and any text messages. The second lists the booking fees already taken from your payments, so you don't pay them twice. When your team enters a booking itself and the customer pays cash, you pay no booking fee on it.

Can I add the fee to what the customer pays?

Yes, you can pass the booking fee to the customer, the way a ticket site does. Your own cost is then the monthly fee, any text messages and what Stripe or Mollie charge. Your customer pays 2.5% on Standard or 1% on Pro, so $5 or $2 on a $200 booking.

What do Stripe and Mollie charge?

Stripe and Mollie charge their own rates and take them straight from your payouts. Let's Book takes no share and doesn't mark them up. Their rates are on their own pricing pages, and they change without us.

What do I pay in the winter, when nothing is booked?

In the winter you only pay the monthly fee: $30 on Standard or $175 on Pro. The booking fee only comes with a booking. Which plan is cheaper depends on your bookings over the whole year: Standard below $116,000, and Pro above it.

Do I pay per user?

No, users are unlimited on both plans, just like bookings and payments. Add the summer crew in May and take them off in October.

Does a second dock cost extra?

No, every dock is included on both plans, in another country or time zone too. Each dock sells its own rentals and trips, with their own hours, prices and payment rules, and all of them sit on one planning. You pay the same monthly fee and booking fee as with one dock.

What happens to the fee if a booking is canceled?

We don't refund the booking fee when a booking is canceled. It came off each payment as your customer paid. Add a cancellation fee when you settle the canceled booking, as a percentage or a fixed amount, and you don't carry that cost yourself.

Do I pay a booking fee on a security deposit?

No, there's no booking fee on a security deposit. Your payment provider does charge its own fee on it, like on any payment. Their terms carry the rate.

What happens to my bookings if I leave?

When you cancel, you keep access until the end of your billing period. Before then, take your bookings and customers out yourself, with the export you use all season or the full API. We keep your data for 90 days after you cancel. If you return within that time, it all comes back. After 90 days, we delete it.

Is there a minimum term, or a setup fee?

Let's Book has no minimum term and no setup fee. Onboarding is free on both plans. You're invoiced by the month and can stop at the end of any month. Nothing is tied to a season or a year.

What else will I be billed for?

Besides the monthly fee and the booking fee, you pay about $0.12 for each text message sent through Let's Book. We bill €0.10 and convert it to dollars on a dollar invoice. Email is included. Stripe or Mollie take their own fees from your payouts. If you use a Mollie or Stripe card reader, you pay them for it directly. For keyless rental, you pay for the hardware module yourself: to Sentinel Marine or Qondor on your own account with them, or for an SMS relay. For digital waivers, you pay WaiverForever for your own account. The software and the integrations are in both plans.
